Dearest Friends of Dorothy,

After last night’s ball, the ton is once again abuzz, and this author is delighted to inform all of you of the most delicious pieces of gossip trickling through the townhouses and streets.

Pride No Prejudice is set in the early 1800s, in the Priderton ballroom, where thee, the mysterious Lord Dorothy, are on a mission from the Queen herself. 

Walk around the ballroom, listen to the gossip you hear, and when the night is over, choose which rumours end up in your gossip column. But be careful... Thy words affect the members of the ton and their standing in the world!


With a delightful cast of characters, get to know their greatest Accomplishments, and deepest secrets most Foul. Navigate the groups of the ton – The Mamans, the It Girls, the Artistiques, and the Dandies – and overhear their conversations to suss out the talk of the ton. But be careful; you cannot be in two places at once...

Who will thee promote as the diamond, the most eligible, the faerest? And whose reputation shall you ruin?

And most importantly... Will thy column please the Queen?

  • Use WASD / Arrow keys to move around.
  • Press Spacebar to listen in on conversations.
  • Press Space / Enter / LMB to progress dialogue.
  • Use the Mouse to decide on pieces of gossip.

Lovely presentation. The game is so much fun to look at and the writing has nice character! After sharing the three gossip topics, I got stuck though. The queen says "Lord Dorothy" and the text doesn't advance further! Also there was one text prompt that was 4 lines and broke out of the dialogue window boundaries.

I'll look forward to playing again if you plan to flesh this out further! It's really promising!:D
